A stalwart of the EV calendar, AutoTrader’s monthly Electric Car Giveaway has had thousands of drivers frantically checking their email junk each and every month in the hope of collecting a brand new electric car, all absolutely free. Since launching in 2021, lucky winners have taken home Porsche Taycans, Ford Mustangs, and Teslas among other fabulous models, and in 2022 this offering got even better with the competition including a free and fully installed Hypervolt as part of the bundle.
Britain’s largest automotive marketplace was launched in 1977 and its eponymous magazine became a stalwart of the motor trade as the go-to place for used car, van, and plant listings. Fast forward to 2024 and Autotrader's platform sees over 120 million viewers, with nearly half a million listed vehicles. Given that around nearly 40,000 of these are EV and PHEV, the platform has an unmatched reach when it comes to prospective car buyers.
