London, UK – September 2024 – Hypervolt is excited to announce that its integration with Octopus Energy’s Intelligent Go tariff has officially entered Open Beta. All Hypervolt Home 3 and Hypervolt Home 3 Pro customers can now seamlessly enable the Octopus Intelligent Go integration directly from their Octopus Energy app.

With this new capability, users can take full advantage of Octopus Energy’s smart charging tariff, designed to optimize electric vehicle (EV) charging based on real-time energy prices. The Intelligent Go tariff dynamically schedules charging during off-peak hours, providing substantial savings while supporting grid efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources.

Key Highlights of the Open Beta:

• Instant Integration: Hypervolt Home 3 and Home 3 Pro customers can now enable the Intelligent Go integration from within the Octopus Energy app. This required removing any pre-existing Intelligent integration through the vehicle.

• Smart Charging: Powered by the Kraken platform, users can benefit from Octopus’s smart tariff, which automatically adjusts charging to the cheapest, greenest times.

• Sustainable and Cost-Effective: Hypervolt’s partnership with Octopus empowers customers to charge their EVs at a fraction of the cost while contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable grid, saving on average over £1700 a year versus a conventional vehicle.
