Extending its commitment to meeting the needs of car, commercial and HGVs fleets now and into the future as they transition to electric vehicles (EVs), fleet management specialist Venson Automotive Solutions is creating a partner panel of charging providers, with Hypervolt the first to be officially announced.
The new panel of providers will meet the needs of fleet operators’ charging requirements, spanning from home and office charging to depot charging. In addition, Venson is also seeking to cater to a rising demand from fleet operators for short term charging solutions that can be rented for situations such as depot charging when trialling EV vans, and income generating solutions such as offering the chargepoints for use by third parties such as the public, when not being used by the fleet.
The appointment of Hypervolt will see it supply Venson’s car fleet customers with a proprietary single-phase home charging platform for their Ultra Low Emission Vehicles, the Hypervolt Home 3 Pro, Britain’s highest rated home charger. This has been chosen for its ease of use, solar and battery integration, and access to affordable EV tariffs with Octopus Intelligent Go and OVO Charge Anytime.
With increasing numbers of fleet managers and businesses navigating the transition to EVs, Venson is focused on choosing charging partners that will help simplify the process of implementing vehicle charging solutions.
Simon Staton, Client Management Director for Venson Automotive Solutions comments, “We have always prioritised high attention to detail and unparallelled customer service, so it is vital we partner with organisations that share these qualities. Hypervolt’s near perfect Trustpilot ranking and 365 days-a-year tech support are standout credentials, with its ‘customer first’ approach to service closely mirroring our own.”
To get to know Hypervolt inside out, Venson staff will take Hypervolt’s certified training courses and be kept up to date with developments through webinars, and other events.
Commenting David Woodford, Head of Partnerships at Hypervolt said, “With around 80% of EV registrations currently coming from fleets, solving the charging question for fleet managers, and indeed their drivers, is a significant responsibility, but equally a tremendous opportunity. Naturally we’re delighted to be aligning with such an established name within the space and to accelerate our overarching mission of decarbonising Britain’s roads with such a knowledgeable and motivated team.”
With a seamless customer experience being key, the Hypervolt portal will provide Venson and their customers with a clear view on how an order is progressing, from initial interest to installation of the charge point.
Simon Staton concludes, “As we continue to bring additional official charging partners on-board, we will be applying the same extensive procurement process. By doing so we ensure we can offer fleet operators’ robust solutions that help manage the operational requirements of a ULEV fleet now and into the future.”
