Hypervolt named Best Home Charger at the ninth annual Autotrader Drivers' Choice Awards — 24 award categories, with finalists and overall winners determined by the real-world opinions of more than 160,000 UK car owners.

Hypervolt has been revealed as the Best Home Charger at the Autotrader Drivers' Choice Awards 2026, beating competition from across the EV charging landscape to secure the title.
What Makes These Awards Different
The Autotrader Drivers' Choice Awards are different from other car awards. The winners aren't decided by the opinions of industry insiders, but by the people whose opinion matters most: car owners.
This year, over 160,000 UK car owners completed an online survey sharing exactly what they think of their car, with their thoughts and opinions — obtained from real-world experience — determining the winners of 20 of this year's 24 award categories.
How the Winners Are Decided
Car owners who have bought, driven and lived with their cars were asked to rate them across a range of lifestyle factors. The Awards feature a broad range of consumer-centric categories, including Best Car for City Drivers, Best Car for Value, and Best EV for Long Distance. This methodology ensures the Awards are a true reflection of what UK consumers think of their car and what they want from it.
People were asked to rate their cars across 16 different criteria, from reliability and performance to appearance and running costs. They were also asked about their overall satisfaction with their car or home charger, and how likely they would be to recommend it to others.
